Repair (R.C.) Control Group
CRS Jet Spares manages millions of dollars worth of repair. The exchange process is a cycle which creates the need for the managing of non-airworthy cores. This requires approving quality certified vendors for the recertification, repair or overhaul requirements of these cores, into airworthy components. The R.C. Group at CRS is a dedicated team of experts that monitors this process on a daily basis with a primary responsibility being quality. CRS manages millions of dollars worth of component repairs and is constantly evaluating quality, cost and turn-around time to improve services to our customers.
The R.C. Group here at CRS provides a level of professionalism and expertise that is well known in the aviation industry. Addressing quality, warranty, technical and costing issues are the way the CRS Group represents our customers for their best interest and become advocates for all.
CRS Exchange Program
Reduce your downtime with certified ready to go exchange units through the CRS Exchange Program. CRS has the part you need when you need it to ensure dispatch reliability.
How It Works: When an exchange component is ordered through the CRS Exchange Program, the component will be shipped to you as requested. Upon your install of the supplied unit, you then return the removed unit, also known as the “core” to CRS in 15 days or sooner. Exchange charges are required prior to completion of transaction so you understand all pricing options available. CRS will provide options including Option 2 Pricing that virtually eliminates any chance of supplemental billing.
Supplemental billing is a standard practice with the flat-rate exchange transaction in the aircraft parts industry. This occurs on exchange transactions where the cores require a substantial repair above and beyond normal charges. Invoices for these charges can arrive 2-3 months after the original transaction and can be substantially more than expected.
Customer Property Overhaul (CPO)
When time does not allow the busy aircraft operator or flight department to source repair capabilities for every component. CRS Jet Spares maintains a comprehensive network of approved vendors. These vendors include OEM’s and a select list of FAA/EASA repair stations. (By allowing CRS to manage your repair requirements you receive) Using CRS as your repair source will provide you with *cost savings, exchange at cost of repair, vendor expertise whenever available. CRS has been providing CPO services over the years to single aircraft operators, flight departments with multi aircraft fleet to charter operators with positive results. So the next time you have a component repair requirement, place a direct call to CRS for a prompt, effective, quality solution to your needs.
Customer Advocate
We know you have a choice in who your partner will be for aftermarket support, at CRS Jet Spares we do everything possible for the choice to be CRS. Our approach to providing our services is that of building a relationship. We believe in sustaining customer relationships beyond standard business practices. Our view is that of a customer advocate for your requirements. By taking on the role of Customer Advocate, CRS is much more than just a quality supplier!
Supplemental Billing: (The Loathed BillBack)
An exchange transaction is basically a matter of a supplier providing an airworthy part to someone with a non-airworthy part. The exchange fee is a flat rate charge based on receiving a like core in return that will require a standard repair/overhaul at the established cost. When the core returned is neither a like core or the cost for certifying the core to airworthy like status of the airworthy part sold; the possibility of a supplemental billing exists. CRS has created an Option 2 pricing strategy which virtually eliminates the chance of this from happening. Supplemental billing is the least attractive aspect of an exchange transaction to both customers and supplier. By providing repair history and a choice of cost to our customer, we are committed to reducing the negative aspect of an exchange transaction.

The ease, monthly reporting, no cost, monthly payments, recall options if requirements arise are some of the advantages CRS has to offer.
