leading corporate aviation supplier, welcomes Marc Cortez to their team. Cortez’s position as Material Processing Manager is a new role developed by the company to maintain current efficiencies as well as accommodate the increased inventory and outbound shipments forecasted to be processed by the company in the coming months. Cortez’s role is to supervise the logistics and processing of CRS’s extensive inventory. Among many of his responsibilities, Cortez will oversee inspection; ensure inventory cycle counts accuracy, proper storage of aircraft components as well as general management of shipping, receiving and warehouse functions at CRS.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, July 2, 2009 – CRS Jet Spares, a leading business aviation battery distribution company is now producing a state of the art battery trickle charger.  The CRS battery trickle charger is a low current/constant voltage charger that can be used to float charge NiCad and Lead-Acid Mainship Batteries.  CRS will be stocking and distributing the trickle charger under part number CRS-BTC1.  Trickle chargers are a low cost means to maintain the charge of batteries in storage or on aircraft, which allows ready to go, fully charged batteries, as well as reduces maintenance cost.

The Foxcart ground power unit is designed to provide smooth, high current DC power to aircraft during engine starts or ground maintenance. CRS’ distribution program will include stocking model 1600 (mid-line power unit requiring three-phase power input) and the model 2000 (HI-LINE unit that delivers maximum power output) for immediate delivery. “Our customers have called us for years with their ground support equipment requirements and it was a perfect fit for CRS to collaborate with Foxtronics to begin the distribution of their Foxcarts,” says Armando Leighton Jr., CRS CEO.

It is a heated drain tube that allows for water to be eliminated from an aircraft. “This is just another product which CRS customers requested to have available,” stated CRS founder and CEO Armando Leighton. “We are a company made up of people committed to assist in the dispatch reliability of the airframes we support and have committed to this OEM product line of drain masts to do just that,” continued Leighton. The drain mast inventory will provide ready to go units, priced below the OEM’s list price. CRS stock will include units for the Dassault/Falcon, Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft with additional airframes being evaluated for future growth opportunities.
